Blush Mystery Beauty Box - July Review

OK...got my first blush Mystery Beauty Box today. This is a monthly subscription box for $24.95 a month. I am very pleased and impressed.  Just look what I got.

I held up my phone to give some sort of scale. Here is the card insert with the product descriptions.

The products are all either very big samples or full size.

The featured product is EMANI Organic Lip Shine in Blush. This is a peachy color, very light and very glossy. I will see if my daughter would like this, I prefer a matt lipstick. Nice though.

Then there is a Deborah Lippmann 3D Holographic Luxurious Nail Color in Ray of Light, which is a sort of royal blue with multi colored glitter in it. Now, I love glitter and the color is great but I think my daughter will love this, so it's hers.

Next is a nice size Philip B. Self Adjusting Hair Spray. I haven't heard of this brand but it smells very nice, not strong. The self adjusting part comes in where if you want flexible hold use 1-2 sprays, medium hold use 3-4 sprays and firm hold use 5-6, etc. I will keep this since I use hairspray everyday. I'll do a review once I've used it for a while and can tell how it is.

Next is tube of Lumene Vitamin C+ Pure Radiance 24H Lotion. The tube says it is a nutrient rich face lotion that hydrates as it detoxifies and mattifies. I have to say I have not been mattified yet...LOL....but I'll try it. I will do a review.

Then comes Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex SPF 15
Yes an anti aging cream. Love it. Mine! :-)

Then comes another Anti Aging product - Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Glow Pad Anti aging Exfoliating Self Tanner towelettes.
Hmmmmm, not sure about these.

Next up is Bioelements Quick Refiner. This has Alpha and Beta hydroxy acids to resurface your skin. This looks pretty good also.

Then there were some samples out side of the bag
(in the box the bag was in)

A tube of Dermstore Lip Quench. I tried it and love it already. it has a soft pinkish shimmer and lasts a long time. Really moisturizing. A small sample of Powder Foundation and a small tub of Airbrush Eye Refining Treatment. The insert says it got 5 stars on Oprah's iVillage and has a 20% off coupon for it.

All in all this is a fantastic shipment and I am already looking forward to next months box. I also want to comment that the anti-aging products are a good add to the monthly box. Us baby boomers have more time and money than our younger counterparts, so including products geared to us is a smart move.

If you are interested in trying a box (you can also just get a single box for $34.95, no subscription needed), go here:

Red Lipstick

Do you have a Go To Beauty fix? The one thing that you can do that is an instant pick me up. A mood booster and self esteem feeder?
For me it's eye liner.

For a while I decided that I didn't need eyeliner any more. It is hard for me to see to put it on. I need a 10X magnifying mirror for God Sakes!  Even with the magnifier, it would seem to take longer and longer to put it on in the mornings and then it always looked a little crooked to me. The line not quite even. Maybe a littler thicker in the middle (like my waist line :-) ) Arrgghhh...what's the use?

But, every time I looked in the mirror, I looked different, not like myself. I have been wearing eyeliner for years. Then after a while I almost forgot about it. I got used to the new, less defined me.

Then one day I was feeling kind of dumpy. Kind of gray. As we grow older, sometimes those days can be more and more frequent. Especially if you have some health issues to go along with it, the effort seems almost not worth it.

But, I decided to put on eyeliner one Saturday morning. I needed something to help me feel pretty.  It really opened up my eyes and brightened up the whites. WOW,  I thought, I look pretty good, why did I stop using this?

Then, a couple of weeks ago, I bought a lipstick. I have actually been wearing it. Almost every day. It looked weird at first. It has been years since I wore lipstick. I felt like should not be wearing it. What was I trying to prove? Who was I trying to impress? I am a 50 something year old woman, what!?!

Something happens when you have a full time job and kids to raise. Slowly it seems there is just not enough time to do everything that needs to be done. Some things are going to have to wait, be put off till later.  Most woman put off doing the things that are for themselves. They are more concerned with their husband & kids. It's OK we say. We are OK.

Then we wake up one day and realize the kids are grown. We have time to take care of ourselves. But, we have forgotten how to pamper ourselves. How to primp like we used to.

Well, lets just get used to it again! Pull out the 10X magnifier if you have to. Put on make up and spray on the perfume. Buy colorful clothes and that bunch of flowers for your desk. Get your nails done and get a least one finger with some sort of nail art. Join the monthly make up club.

Make color a part of everything you do. Some things to brighten up your life can be so simple and so small you'll wonder why you never did them before and the more you do, the more you will think of doing.

Get creative, use the fanciful artsy picture frames. Get the glasses with the colorful beading. Get a rhinestone phone case.

Wear lipstick. Wear RED lipstick!

Bush's Cocina Latina - Review

I saw these new line from Bush's beans the other day called - Cocina Latina (Latin Kitchen)  and they looked petty good so I bought a can of the Frijoles a la Mexicana - Pinto Beans in a tomato & serrano sauce with a touch of bacon.

I used it in a dish I usually use just plain old baked beans for.
It's super easy and fast. You will need:

One medium size sweet onion
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 LB pork roast
1 can Bush's Cocina Latina - Frijoles a la Mexicana pinto beans

5 cups of chopped kale
5 slices of thinly sliced bacon
1 tablespoon salt

Olive oil

Cut up the onion (diced) and divide in half (1 half is for the meat and the other for the kale) - set aside
Dice up the garlic very small - set aside
Chop up the bacon in bite size pieces - set aside
Cut up the pork roast into bite size pieces - set aside

Start a pot to boil with the kale. Add about 1 tablespoon salt.

In a skillet heat up about 3 tablespoons of the olive oil until hot. Add the chopped up pork roast and cook until thoroughly cooked and nicely browned.

Remove from the pan and set aside. Add the onion and and cook until tender. Remove and set aside. Add the bacon and brown til crisp. Remove and set aside.

Add back 1/2 of the onion and the garlic. Cook on low until the garlic is tender. Add back the pork and the can of the pinto beans.
Mix and simmer about 5 mins.

Once the kale is cooked, drain and put back into the pan. Add the other 1/2 of the onions and the bacon. Mix together.

Serve with buttered bread. Simple, fast and easy.

This was not as flavorful using the Bush's Cocina Latina - Frijoles a la Mexicana pinto beans. The sauce was to watery and the flavor just was not there. When I opened the can I could smell the serrano but it quickly dissipated and I was left with a very bland bean mixture.

The Bush's Home style Baked Beans is much more flavorful. Maybe the Bush's should just stick with plain old American Baked Beans and leave the Latin to Goya.

Kashi Italian Vegetable Medley Pasta - Review

I have bought Kashi breakfast products for years. I love their GOLEAN Crunch Cereal. Especially with sliced bananas.  I've tried the Honey Sunshine Squares and was reminded of Captain Crunch, but not as sweet.

I also like their breakfast bars. I buy the Granola Honey Almond Flax or the Granola Dark Chocolate Coconut the most. I also like the Strawberry Cereal Bars, but they are a little dry.

I haven't tried their entree's because to be honest they just never appealed to me. I would see them in the freezer section next to the Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's and they just faded into the background for some reason. I would start looking at them and as soon as I saw something from Stouffer's that I was used to and loved....that was it. Kashi was quickly forgotten. They do not have the same shelf space, usually on the bottom shelf and there are not as many choices as the other name brands.

I was looking for something different today and was checking out the bag entrees. That's when I noticed the new Kashi bags. They serve 2 people and are just heated in the microwave for 10 mins.

I chose the Italian Vegetable Medley Pasta

The package says it's Vegetarian. That's cool, although I am not a vegetarian I am not adverse to a meatless meat every now and then. The main ingredients are: whole grain corkscrew pasta, carrots, broccoli, red bell peppers, yellow squash and edamame in a marinara sauce. One serving = 1/2 of the package and contains 320 calories, 8 grams of fiber and 14 grams of protein.

The serving is a healthy portion and smells awesome.

The pasta was nicely cooked, not too soggy and there was a decent amount of vegetables. The sauce was very mild and the parmesan cheese gives it a nice flavor.

I recommend this wholeheartedly, a very healthy, hearty meal in 10 mins.

Quick Pasta Salad with chicken & broccoli recipe

I tried this combination a few weeks ago and it was a big hit in my house. It's a quick & easy complete meal and the left overs are even better the next day.

You will need:

2 boxes of Betty Crocker Suddenly Pasta Salad - Classic Style
1 bag of frozen broccoli - I used Birdseye steamers, broccoli florets
3 boneless chicken breasts
15 medium black olives (cut in half)
1/2 cup of mayo - I used Hellmann's with Olive Oil
6 tablespoons water
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons olive oil

Assemble all your ingredients first
Start a pot to boil for your pasta and broccoli. Do not add salt.
Rinse and clean your chicken breast and cut into bite size pieces.

Cook until golden brown
Spray the bottom of a large skillet with some no-stick spray and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, heat till hot. Add the chicken and cook thoroughly and nicely browned.

Use a pot large enough so pasta and veggies can float

Once water is boiling, add the pasta and broccoli. Cook until tender.

Combine seasoning packets, water, vegetable oil, mayo and olives into a large bowl or container.

Rinse the pasta and broccoli under cold water until cool. Add to seasoning mixture. Add cooked chicken. Combine until all of the pasta and chicken are coated.

Can be served immediately or chilled. Great the next day.

I hope your family likes it as much as mine did!

Unwind

This has been a crazy week at work. I don't even know how it got that way. It started off OK but then slowly, little things started to go side ways. Last night when I left to come home I was tense, grouchy and just wanted to scream!

One of the best ways to relax for me is to do just everyday things, slow and by myself (this wouldn't have worked for me when I had to pickup the kids from school). I stopped at the grocery store and shopped around some. Got a sample of a chicken dish made with dates, checked out the fruit, got the yogurt I went in for and was already feeling better. I didn't really have to make any decisions or answer any questions. I was able to take my time and not have to rush.

I was scheduled to watch my grand baby Margot while my daughter went to her part time job so I already knew I wasn't going to cook. I tried to cook and watch Margot after a full day of work before and everyone was miserable, believe me, at this point in my life that is NOT something I am going to do again if I can help it. Yep, on Margot nights, it's take out.

She is 5 1/2 months old and just a joy. She is sitting up in her walker and babbling and laughing. When I watch her it's a treat that really relaxes me. So relaxing in fact that I usually fall asleep on the recliner with Margot on my lap.

Another way to unwind for me is to wash some dishes. There is something about the warm water and the fresh clean smell of the soap that is comforting.

Doing a craft will work also, right now I am into beading and am making jewelry. The repetition and simple act of threading the beads is calming.

My dog Mitchell can relax me when he is calm and feeling like cuddling. He is very lovable and doesn't care if the house is a mess either!

And I can add a new activity in my arsenal of relaxers, blogging. This is certainly a way to unwind and express my self at the same time.

And if all else fails, a nice glass of Merlot works just fine :-)

I encourage you to find time each day to unwind. Stress will kill you. It opens the door to anger, resentment and illness. Find the time to maintain balance in your life.

Mammograms and Make up (Birchbox Review)

So, it's that time of year again. Time for the annual boob crush. I've been having these for years and it does not get any better. My appointment was at 7 am. Monday.  I wanted to get it over with before work, also, so I wouldn't have to try and work while dreading an afternoon appointment. So, in I go.
This is the same place I always go and they are just wonderful. I was in and out in no time. I was a little nervous about my port, but not too much. this is the 3rd mammogram I've had with a port and so far they have not yanked it out and I have not died from port displacement (LOL!)  so I think they know what they are doing.

So, Monday I kept thinking about it. I'm thinking, OK, I am stable with stage IV lung cancer. What are the chances I get breast cancer!! Well,
there was a time in my life where I would have said,SLIM.....the odds are in my favor, but I have learned my lesson. 15 months after my brother Michael died from lung cancer and my cough got worse and I got pneumonia that wouldn't clear up I thought....It's probably not serious, odds are it's just a lingering cold that turned into pneumonia and I'll be OK. But there was this little nagging thought...what if?? So I kept going back for a re-check. I wasn't going to stop until the x-rays were clear. They never cleared up. Well.....yes, it was lung cancer. The odds were not in my favor. Who's to say they are now.

I told myself to not get my hopes up and stay rational. Just forget about it. But......I know that if I got a phone call it's bad and if I get a letter it's OK. Every time the phone rang I felt a tiny rush of apprehension. Then on Tuesday, work got kind of busy and kind of crazy. No time to think about it. Then today, the same, busy. Worked late, got home late.

Then......I walk in the door and see the pile of mail. It all rushes back. A letter!! Whew! OK....it's OK.

Also in that pile of mail was my first Birchbox. I used to get a similar box each month, years ago and for the life of me I can't remember the name of the company, but I loved getting it each month. It usually came when I needed a little pick me up and it was fun trying new products.

I learned about Birchbox from a blog and then after a little research thought for $10 it's worth a try. The one I got today is "July's" box.

It's a bright pink box and then once it's open there is another light brown box.
It's smaller than I thought it would be.
Inside are samples of different products, there are some cute "bobby pins" with a nice pattern, I give those to my daughter. There is a small pump bottle of Number 4 Lumiere d'hiver Super Combo Prep & Protect. This is a leave in conditioner and de-tangler. Smells a little like nail polish.
There is a tiny tube (0.23 oz) Coola Classic Sunscreen. Smells nice, but not enough for much of anything. Maybe my arm?
There is a small tube of purminerals CC cream. This might be of some value. I've been wanting to try a CC and from the test I did on my hand, it might have some potential. I will try it tomorrow. And...there is a tiny sample, like the kind in mass mailing when a product is first introduced, of Divine Legs, Tinted Body Lotion, self tanning product. This I also give to my daughter. Actually, she ends up with everything except the CC Cream.
All in all, I am somewhat disappointed. I feel ripped off.  I will give it another month to see if it improves. In the mean time I have sent off for another monthly box. The Blush Mystery Beauty Box. Hopefully this one will be more my style.
I'll will review it in a few days.

Feeling Blessed that my boobs are OK :-)

Mitchell's Ear

My dog Mitchell has an ear infection. We discovered this fact when he scratched his left ear and started yelping. He would scratch and yelp, scratch and yelp. It sounded like someone was killing him. I was afraid the neighbors were going to call the police and accuse me of having dog fights in my backyard.

So, I figured I better take a look and see what's going on. He's no dummy. He saw me coming and ran under the coffee table and refused to come out. I could almost hear him saying, "Oh no, I know that look!" I finally coaxed him out with a cookie and when I lifted up his ear, whoa, yuck, the stench was disgusting. How did I miss this?

So I grab the mini flash light my husband keeps on hand and shine it in. It looks OK. So I check on-line for possible causes and think it is ear mites. Gross, gross, gross. What are ear mites you ask? Here is a very brief definition from the ASPCA web site.

What Are Ear Mites? There are several types of mites that can live in your dog’s ear, but the most common are otodectes cynotis—tiny, eight-legged parasites that feed on the wax and oils in a dog’s ear canal.

OMG! GAG!...my poor puppy! So.......off to Petsmart for some do it yourself medicine. I buy some expensive ear wash and ear mite medicine. I go back on-line and watch a you tube video on how to clean his ear and insert the medicine. As I am cleaning I realize he does not have all the gunk that the video shows for ear mites. Well, I think "Caught it just in time!" YAY me.....best owner in the world.

No.No.No. 2 weeks later same scratching, same yelping....louder now. Same stench....worse now. What the heck! I call the vet and they are able to see him Saturday morning. $175 later we find out he has a bacterial infection. No ear mites. Some sort of allergy the vet says. He cleaned his ears real good, gave him a steroid/antibiotic shot and sent him home with ear drops, antibiotic pills and instructions to return in 2 weeks to be re-checked because, he informs us, we have had Mitchell there just about every 2 weeks since April with skin problems due to allergies. Now this ear thing!

Mitchell and the offending ear.
I wonder if dogs can take benadryl?

Campbell's Go Soup - Review

When I was shopping at Publix the other day, I saw a new soup product. Campbell's Go. The packages are cool looking and caught my eye even though they were up on the top shelf. It's soup in a pouch that you pop into the microwave for 2 1/2 mins. There are 6 varieties, Creamy Red Pepper with Smoked Gouda, Golden Lentil with Madras Curry, Spicy Chorizo & Pulled Chicken with Black Beans, Chicken & Quinoa with Problano Chilies, Coconut Curry with Chicken & Shitake Mushrooms and Moroccan Style Chicken with Checkpeas.

You might be thinking, "Why is she buying soup in the middle of summer?" Well, where I work the air conditioner is set at FREEZING, so I try to eat hot foods to stay warm. Every couple of hours I take a short stroll outside in the sun to thaw out so I can move my fingers on my keyboard!! I know there are offices all across the country where women are being needlessly frozen stiff. God forbid I forget my sweater, if I do I'm shivering all day.

I tried the Moroccan Style Chicken with Chickpeas ($2.99 at Publix)

Cool packaging

The microwave heating time is 2 1/2 mins. on high.

So I pop it in

It was really boiling when I took it out. The package was not hot and very easy to tear open at the top.

I poured it into a bowl and sat down to enjoy.

A whole bowl full!

It was just OK. The chicken was really dark colored and kind of looked and tasted like beef. I only found one chick pea. The broth was very good, sweet and spicy. I could smell the cinnamon and spices. There were carrots and onions and what I think were bits of red peppers.

Even though it was only OK, I will buy it again. The broth, as I said was very good. Some good crusty bread would go nicely with it. I think I'll try the Creamy Red Pepper with Smoked Gouda one next.

entwine - Cabernet Sauvignon Review

Last night I had a glass of wine. entwine-Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 ($10.99 at Publix) put out by the Food Network. I have bought this brand wine before and really like it. I am not by any stretch of the imagination a wine expert, I just know what I like.

My glass last night-YUM

Check out the cork!

I LOVE the Food Network and when I saw they were putting out a line of wines I knew I had to try them.
They have partnered with Wente Vinyards and have the Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay

I prefer a full bodied, somewhat dry wine. Mostly Cabernet's and Merlot's.

The Cabernet is flavorful and medium bodied. It's fruity but not overly so. I has a glass to sip, but I have served this with Italian pasta dishes and steak dishes. I do not think this would go well with chicken or fish. Or, it can just be sipped by it's self, with some cheese and crackers or you can pair it with a delicious bowl of sour cream and onion potato chips like I did last night, LOL!! I DID tell you I am not a gourmet, didn't I? :-)

Since this IS the Food Network, they have put list of foods on the label will entwine well that particular wine. Great for us non-wine experts.

All in all, this is a wonderful, affordable wine. I will be buying it again.

Rimmel Match Perfect Concealer & Highlighter

I had an eye infection a few weeks ago and had to throw out all my make up. I had to buy some more to replace it and went down to Walmart. They were out of the concealer I usually buy so I picked up Rimmel Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer & Highlighter for $4.95.

I have a light complexion and bought shade #230 Fair/Light. The package says it is a skin tone adapting concealer and it matches my skin tone wonderfully. There is a brush applicator attached to the tip of the tube and you just squeeze it out until you get the brush saturated and then apply to the areas you choose. I blend it with my fingers but you could also use a make up sponge. It is a liquid and blends easily. If you are not careful, it is easy to squeeze out to much and end up with too much on the brush that you can't use.

I am semi happy with the results. It did brighten my eye area and soften the red tones. However, it did not lighten up the dark inner and outer corners as much as I would have liked.

AAhhhhh (ACK!) Summer

Summer, as a kid growing up in Connecticut I remember summer as a wonderful, never ending stream of ice cream, the ocean, sand, French fries and laughter. The temperature seemed to be just perfect. Cool in the mornings and warming up nicely during the day. mosquitoes did not seem so abundant or aggressive and the breeze through the window would stir the curtains gently at night. Aahhhhh, summer.

Now.....I live in Alabama and the summers are a never ending stream of red hot skin peeling steering wheels, thunderstorms, mosquitoes that attack as soon as you open the door, freezing in the office from the artic blast through the A/C vent, sweet tea and the temperature seems to be just brutal......all the time.....hot in the morning then coming to a low simmer then to a rolling boil by the end of the work day. The beach is beautiful but 2 hours away.

I'll step out of the office at 5 after freezing all day and sigh in delight at the warmth of the sun on my face and wonder at the beauty of God's creation and then start off through the parking lot to my car. About half way I start to sweat, the artic freeze quickly forgotten as the hot humid air surrounds me. The ground shimmers in the hot late afternoon sun......my car still several rows away. By the time I get to the car I am cursing the crazy people whoever thought it was a good idea to settle in such a punishing inferno of a state. I open the car door and get blasted with air so hot my mascara starts to get sticky. Roll down all the windows to get the hot air out and turn up the A/C full blast. Maybe it will be cooled off by the time I get home.

ACK!! Summer.

They are Tracking Us !!

As I was driving to work this morning I heard on NPR about how stores are now tracking our moves. I didn't have time to hear the whole story so I looked it up on line tonight. It's actually in the New York Times. Here's a link to the article,

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/15/business/attention-shopper-stores-are-tracking-your-cell.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

OK, so this may seem kind of creepy to a lot of people and I really had to think about how I felt about it. After much reflection I found that I don't think it bothers me.

For a long time I have seen the customized ads on my Yahoo e-mail after I have shopped around. Recently I bought a new refrigerator and did a bit of research on-line ahead of time. Within minuets there were ads from Sears to HH Gregg showing up on my Yahoo e-mail side bars.

The article says the store will use video surveillance and follow the signal from your cell phone WI FI and gather information like how long you lingered at the make up counter, the number of visits you made to the store and the time between visits. For example the article says, if some one spends 20 minuets in the shoe section they can tell that your highly interested in buying a pair of shoes and may send you a coupon!

If you give them information by responding to a survey or something like that, then they can build a profile.

WOW!!! If you ever saw the movie Minority Report, remember the scene where Tom Cruise walks into the store and a device scans his eye and IDs him and addresses him by name? Kinda feels like that is where we are headed.

So, here's the strategy .... if you work by the store you want to buy something from, in my case Sears and a refrigerator, stop by every day on your lunch break and linger by the fridges. If you don't buy one after a while maybe they will send a coupon and you will get a discount!!

So far I love my new refrigerator by the way. I will be reviewing it here soon.

Yoplait Greek Yogurt

The first word that comes to mind with Yoplait Greek Yogurt is ......100 calories, yay.  The second word is YUMMY!

I love Greek yogurt. The texture is amazing and it can be mixed with all kinds of fruit. I love, love, love to eat and sometimes I go a little overboard so I try to eat items that give me the most nutritional value with the least amount of calories whenever I can. Greek yogurt used to be somewhat of a treat (meaning...not everyday) for me because it has a lot of calories.

As we get older we really do need to increase our protein intake to help our muscles and if you are a cancer patient under going treatment and even after treatment, or if you work out a lot, protein helps your muscles repair and stay strong. Yogurt is also a great source of calcium.

My sister said she didn't want the extra calories in regular Greek yogurt and recommended Yoplait Greek, 100 calories per container. I was skeptical at first because a lot of lower calorie foods are watered down versions of the real thing. But I decided to try it.

The first one I tried was a delicious surprise! It is not quite as thick and rich as regular Greek yogurt and the taste not as strong but it is the best low calorie Greek I have tried so far. I have one a day!

The texture is thick and creamy. The fruit is on the bottom and there are small chucks of the fruit along with a thin jam like mixture that sweetens and flavors the yogurt nicely. My favorite is the tropical fruit blend of pineapple, mango and passion fruit.

It has 100 calories, 10 grams of protein and 10% of RDA for calcium. The are usually around $1.00 per container and I have found them at Walmart, Winn Dixie and Publix.

Spa Revivie by Vera Wang - Review

OK...my first review.

If you are anything like me, you love to feel like you are getting a great deal. One of my favorite ways to get that feeling is shopping at Kohl's.

If you shop at Kohl's you know they carry Vera Wang items......from cloths to perfume to jewelry. I LOVE her stuff. I have bought her jewelry and cloths. I love they way she uses color.

Today I was shopping with my daughter, Jill and granddaughter, Margot and saw a display of Vera Wang "Spa Revive" products.

I bought her Lime Basil & Bergamot body mist. Kohl's price $19.50. It is fabulous! The box states that it is infused with chamomile and avocado extracts and replenishes and conditions the skin. The best word I can use to describe it is CLEAN. It smells clean. I should have bought the body wash also!!

Since I am on this treatment for my cancer, the drug makes my sinuses really, really dry and some days regular perfume is just to strong for me to tolerate. This scent is wonderful. Light and refreshing! Not too strong. It is only a body mist and won't last all day, but I can just refresh it later in the day. Also, spraying it on my hair will keep the scent longer it seems.

I love it and recommend it.
